  1. A few years ago some students had the idea to project a twitter feed on the side of Nesbitt Hall for a project they were working on. Anyone could submit to the twitter feed and ‘interact’ with the building. These students were pure genius. I like the idea of Drexel reinterpreting this concept by projecting digital images on the sides of buildings that could be used as a form of advertisement for upcoming campus events, Drexel news and advertisements for academic programs available at Drexel. You could rotate through the images at certain intervals and add a dynamic visual element to campus rather than simply hanging vinyl banners everywhere that rarely change.

    1. The project by students from the Westphal College of Media Arts and Design was brilliant. I agree with your opinion about banners. They are not consistent with Drexel’s technological orientation.
